    The answer it seems is none of the above!

    I checked both my install of Slic3r and the Lounge Computer, they both are set up to use Marlin firmware for the G-Code.

    Joseph Prusa was one of the main RepRap developers - I can't imagine his printer using anything else.

    I'm pretty sure that the engine can be replaced, but I don't think anyone has done it.

    Hi guys, I'm installing the Slic3r software on my computer and it's asking for the firmware type used by our printer: The options are RepRap, Repetier, Teacup, MakerWare, Sailfish, Mach3, Machinekit,Smoothieware and No extrusion.

    Which one should I choose?
