You hear about STEM a lot. Outs the same thing but missing the art component. It’s the art that makes it fun. For the grumpy people you could say that art is the difference between a $20 toaster and a $100 toaster.
If anyone wants a better look around our space, you can join our chatroom at tang.ents.ca and query the camera system. We just installed 5 additional cameras, so you can really get a good look around, the aerial shots are sometimes easier to see the floorplan from.
I just captured all these shots now, so you’ll see some lit shops and some dark areas.
As kile said, we try to be super available and would love another space to share in some of the tools we use. We’ve started to customize a lot of the stuff to our needs, but your needs are likely pretty similar. If we could work towards a common goal, that’d be great.
If anyone has questions about ENTS or our experience I’m happy to answer them or at least offer what insight I can.
@Jacob-S. we are not planning on doing any big demos. I am taking the chicken coop and @Ron_Ron 's draw bot and we are bringing a bunch of laser and CNC demos with us. We will be spending the day chatting with people about makerspace and the stuff we build. If you are free and looking for something to do tomorrow, it would be great if you could join us and tell people about makerspace!
