@megan.fenkhuber Strogonoff sounds like a good solution - it’s self contained in a single bowl - no mixing, cutting or sorting required.
And it’s fun to say ‘Strogonoff’.
@azure Please reference this post for how to set up a date for a workshop. Thank you.
@DarrenAndSherry This will be helpful to you. It is a link to the ‘Workshop Basics’ thread on the forum.
In that thread is a link to the ‘Workshop Application Form’ but I am also posting that link below.
I don’t believe anyone said the one we have doesn’t work because it smells. I said I don’t want to use it and don’t trust it because of the smell. But that is just me, I am a little paranoid about food stuffs.
However the machine we have does not work. It was donated as a non functioning machine. The previous owners did not want to acquire the parts necessary to make it work again as they were given a newer functioning machine for free.
It was brought to the Space to be repaired and then used to wash parts. Unless someone has repaired it and or tested it the statues of the machine is still the same. Non functioning.
Thank you @Vaughn for keeping an eye open for a machine for us.
Just a reminder to anyone helping look for a new dishwasher, it must have an NSF certification sticker.
I forgot to post sooner but I won’t make it to the Space until 5:30 - 6pm (So the normal time.) now because I did wind up having work today. Again I know it is a holiday so most people might not make it. And I we had people at the Family Day Event today so people might be tired. (Thank you everyone who made it to that. @Grant-Fraser @Chainmaildave @Vaughn And anyone else who made it out. I had planned to be there but couldn’t make it.)
I am also canceling Maker Monday for Feb 19th as I will be busy that day.
Ok so I have been looking at the scheduling for this up coming week.
The Family Day Festival is on Monday, Feb 12th 10am-2pm. This is also normally a Maker Monday day.
I know a few of our Maker Monday regulars were looking at going to the Family Day Festival. And it is also a stat so people might have plans.
I was thinking we could do Maker Monday a little earlier. Say start it some time between 3 and 4, have dinner early and then people can make it home early or work on projects.
I am looking to see how many people are still interested in attending Maker Monday. As well as if starting earlier interests them.
I already have a dinner planned but it is something I can hold for a week and do on Monday, Feb 19th instead.
I want to thank everyone that made it in last night for Maker Monday.
I often forgot to make a post thanking those who attend our Maker Mondays.
So a big shout out to those who have found the extra time to come in and help out. It doesn’t always seem like a lot the night of but those hours you put in really do make a difference around the Space. Thank you all.
@Vaughn I have already bought the food for tonight. Chicken Pot Pie, Potato Salad and Buns.
3D printing a bucket, though kind of an interesting it, would take forever. Also I am fairly sure that to make a good one it would cost more in filament then just going and buying the one @Krankin has linked to.
However we don’t need another mop to the best of my knowledge. I will double check but there should still be another mop already at the Space that Sue donated.
Also I am looking for a ringer that fits the second industrial mop bucket we already have. If I can’t find one this one is good but it I can it might save us some money in the end.
I haven’t looked downstairs yet either. Some of the cleaning and maintenance supplies where down there when we moved in so it is possible the ringer for the blue bucket is down there.
